My review : "The Haunting of Bly Manor" . Better and Scarier then the Hill House.
T he Haunting of Bly Manor is clearly a sister story to The Haunting of the Hill House, yet unquestionably more yearning, less alarming and with a considerable amount more heart. The arrangement, a variation of Henry James' novella The Turn of the Screw, is a remark on the human condition and its awfulness. The new arrangement on Netflix, in contrast to its archetype, makes certain to leave the watcher more tragic than terrified. Bly Manor is the famous memory castle writ little, and like in Hill House, the phantoms here are established in cerebral awfulness. The distress which was made by the Hill House apparition is eerier and significantly more agitating, yet Bly Manor wins out with regards to the human dramatization.
